Crossing the Lake of Lucerne or Vierwaldstätter
It is also called the Lake of the Four Forest Cantons
because it borders on Uri, Unterwalden, Schwyz, and Luzern cantons.

Inside the boat.
Most members of the group went to the upper deck
but it was a bit cool and some of us (chickens) chose the lower deck, inside and warmer.

But the best views, of course, were from the upper deck.

In the next picture we are approaching the house where Richard Wagner lived.
Mount Pilatus, our destination, is in the background.

In the rush to get the camera with the boat moving the intent of the following picture is somewhat missed but, if you look closely at the houses on the lake, you will notice below them what appear to be garages. And in a way, they are, only that they house boats instead of cars. But the interesting part is that the boats are lifted from the water and hang from the ceiling. That was the intent of the picture but by then was a little too far to capture that detail.
