Breakfast at the airport in Frankfurt with Bill Bramwell, a feat which was slightly
more difficult than just ordering "bacon and eggs". Spotting the Goethe Cafe was easy but
none of us had local currency and the Germans don't like to accept dollars. And so it came
down in the end to having them charge our coffees and croissants to our respective credit
cards. They did. How happily? We don't know but we tipped. |
